Grammy Awards 2018

Grammy Awards 2018

FINALLY! The 60th Annual Grammy Awards took place yesterday, Sunday 28th January 2018, also known as “The Biggest Night in Music”. An evening in Madison Square Gardens filled with talented individuals from the music industry. Performances from Kesha, Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and Rihanna, just to name a few.

A big shoutout to Bruno Mars who was the man of the night taking home six trophies!!! Was very well deserved, becasue you can’t go anywhere without hearing a song from his 24K Magic album.

Although majority of the awards were won by the gents, the ladies sure did win on the carpet. I posted a few looks on my instagram (@sedistylesuk) but I had to make a full post  on the rest of the ladies whose looks blew me away.

SZA (@sza) wearing a sheer, sequined gown with thigh high slits, by Atelier Versace. She’s had a great year, and was up for 5 grammy nominations, and although she didn’t win any, she’s still a winner to me. I’m forever playing her CTRL album on repeat.

Maren Morris

Country singer Maren Morris (@marenmorris), came bedazzling in this Julien Macdonald silver cut out number. Reminded me of his Spring Summer 18 runway Collection that we saw back in September’s London Fashion Week.

Eve (@therealeve) gave us something different with this crystal Naeem Khan suit. Spot how she has her infamous paw tattoos on show. Perfect fit!

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha (@beberexha) was part of a wonderful #metoo tribute where they all performed in white outfits. If their was one outfit I would wear, it would 100% be her carpet look. Bringing her curves out to play Bebe wore a beaded, tight fitting, nude La Pearl dress. Which her super cute platinum blonde bob also complemented. Her stylist Maeve Reily (@stylememaeve) done so well with this entire look.

Julia Michaels

Paolo Sebastian (@paolo_sebastian) has showcased many pastel, dreamy, flowing style dresses recently, so was no surprise to find out this was his design. Julia’s (@imjmichaels) tatoo sleeve and bob hairstyle gave it an edgy look to top it all off.

Lisa Loeb

I didn’t even know their was a category for Best Children’s album until Lisa Loeb (@lisaloeb) won last night. She accepted her award in a stunning metallic ball gown by Zeina Nabulsi. Keeping jewellery to a minimum, and hair pinned up, Lisa looked like a true princess. Best dressed of the night!

Nominee for Best Solo Performance Pink (@pink), came in a look you could refer to as marmite! You either love it or hate it! I happen to LOVE IT! Not everyone could pull off this pink and purple feather number, but Pink rocked it hard! Dress by Armani, they for sure knew who would wear it best. Although losing her 19th Grammy nomination, she wins having the cutest daughter of the night.
